When my son said he would get me a tv for my bedroom if I found one I liked, I took quite a while to check reviews before choosing the Toshiba 19DV555DB. I have to say I was very worried about the problem that so many reviewers mentioned - losing all the channels. However I am very pleased with my choice and, so far, no problem with losing channels. I think this is probably because I just left the channels exactly as they came as I don't mind searching through for my favourites and am not keen on risking altering them in case this causes the problem. Some people mentioned that they found the volume a bit low and I would say that this has been the only thing I have found irritating at times but then this was a tv for the bedroom so this is a minor flaw.

I read all the reviews on Amazon before buying this TV and some were helpful, others not so I thought I would combine what I read to be a bit more helpful! It is perfect for a small bedroom TV, the sound quality is great, picture quality is really really good compared to some LCD TVs I have seen and feels really solid (so does the remote). The connectivity to this TV is also great. Looks really smart too.
Only small niggles I have would be the TV menus make the product feel a bit cheap and don't really do the product justice and if you leave the TV on standby there is a slight high pitched noise, however if you turn the TV off on the unit which you should do to save those pennies... then this is not noticeable! as I say, small niggles but overall I am really pleased with it!

I bought this for my mother and was very impressed with the quality of the picture and ease of set up. It's also easy for my my other to use the menus to scroll through programmes.

Brought this for my caravan to replace a similar cheaper same specked but slightly smaller TV/DVD combo with freeview.
This was twice the price of the far inferior old TV.
The set-up is easy and important as when touring it need to be set-up at every destination.
The colours are rich and vibrant, the DVD is a great space saver and all works out of the box every time.
Highly recommended and good value for a branded product.
