So pleased with this TV March 8, 2010 dom (england) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I spent a lot of time researching the right TV for the money, and 6 months on, I stand by my choice with a huge grin on my face! Could not be more pleased with it. I was worried that the Freeview signal would look badly decompressed as i have seen before with Digital TV's built in freeview tuners, but it looks great, and up-scaled really well.
The funny thing is, as it is 4 inches larger than the old TV we had in our living room, instantly it looked huge in comparison. A friend was over, and agreed how much bigger it looked. She came back a week later and was convinced that we had exchanged it for a smaller one! I don't think shrinking is on the tech spec, but i'm so pleased with it i'm not going to double check just in case I get disappointed!
LG TV GREAT QUALITY AT A SUPERB PRICE March 6, 2010 Deakin This television was purchased after carefull consideration and after consulting several reviews and forums from existing owners. Previously I had purchased Samsung televisions.
Because they had proved to be so reliable I was a litte wary of trying a different manufacturer, Once purchased the LG television has more than lived up to expectations, everything works very well from the picture and sound quality to the on screen menus and the remote functions. It is both functional and a well styled piece of equipment. Initially I had a little trouble tuning my sky remote to work the t.v.functions i.e. sound, mute and volume control. Eventually on an internet forum I found the code required to programme the sky remote to the tv and now its working perfectly.
lg32lh300 March 4, 2010 A. Toms (london) Great picture, great sound, delivered to my address in less than 24 hours, easy to setup. The only down side was the usb port on this model is not activated. its for sevice updates only, also its not posible to conect up to the stereo via red / white audio leads. but if you have a surronnd sound system there,s plenty of connections. I am very pleased with it.
LG are my new favourite tech company! March 3, 2010 R. Munns (Britain) I purchased one of these TVs recently, after my old TV (CRT) died an undignified death, and with great trepidation I ventured into the modern era of viewing technology. I have to say I'm impressed with this one, the picture is sharp (even with scart connections), the colour is vivid, the sound is more than adequate for most people, and there are a ton of features and options you can access through various (and easy to follow) menus.
The down side for me is fairly trivial I suppose, but the glossy frame, and the metal strip across the bottom of the TV can cause a bit of glare, especially if you've got a light on behind you.
I would recommend this TV to anyone wanting to buy a new LCD TV, in fact I intend to buy a new TV for my Mum, and it will almost certainly be an LG one.
Good HD ready tele February 28, 2010 Phoenix 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this three months ago to replace my old analogue one. The picture is bright, vibrant and sharp especially whilst being played from a DVD (with the 1080p upscaler), and the sound is very good too. It has plenty of connections on the back including 3 HDMI's and 2 scarts; so I have no problems connecting my DVD and VCR.
The only minor gripe I have is with the remote control; althought buttons are soft to press, the thumbsticks - the navigation buttons - need to be pressed very hard. Hence only 3 stars.
