Was looking for a smart, modern, tidy tv for the bedroom and have to say am very happy with this set. Being LED it has very little depth and along with the design of the TV, it feels very slick. Set up happened in no time from the box, the picture is second to none and with a ton of ports to the rear, you won't be disappointed. Recently tried a USB stick in the port to try and watch a film and it found the 'AVI' file in no time. Via the remote you can play, pause and rewind. Very clever. Highly recommended.

Having to replace an old CRT screen portable T.V., after doing a bit of research, I found that the LG 19" set was a good compromise; being the most efficient energy wise, with good picture quality, simple to set up and use, since a lot of LCD T.V.'s are highly energy inefficient these days, (up to 300 Watts) and guzzle electricity far more than conventional old CRT sets! With quite often relatively short screen lives, in tens of thousands of hours.

The well packaged T.V. arrived within two days, and was easy to set up, though it is advised to use an aerial amplifier with a digital aerial, when doing a T.V. channel search for the first time. The internal freeview receiver is very quick and efficient to set up the channel list.
The picture is also very sharp and the colour is good, good blacks and contrast, with plenty of options to adjust the picture to personal preferences.
For the size, the hidden 10W speakers are more than adequate, and sound quality is very good for a small set.
Can also display HD programmes, if a freeview HD receiver is plugged in.

Overall, this new generation LED back lit screen T.V. is very good, and worth having. Looks to be reliable.
