In all fairness, my title is harsh but the tv's picture quality varies depending on the source it is fed. PS3 games look fantastic as do blu-ray movies. Keeping in line, Sky-HD broadcast in 1080i also looks great. However, a screen size of 46inches does not lend itself to viewing standard definition pictures. The picture can become a little jagged around edges and I have found slow-down issues on fast moving objects but I have only really noticed this on football matches. Connectivity is great and the set will look fantastic with any decor. Sound is good but I would recommend some sort of surround sound system. The remote control is large but is logically designed, will control 3 other devices (except PS3 which uses bluetooth) and also has a nice backlight function. Overall I would recommend it on its HD picture quality and design.
