Sony Bravia is the best April 21, 2010 Mr. Simon Wong a fantastic stylish small TV for bedrooms or kitchens with loads of features, excellent picture frame (although Sony could have provided a few more famous sample photos, it is still worth the extra money spent on this Sony Bravia TV).

I bought this little set as a bedroom TV for my wife and thought the picture was first class.
The range of connections and facilities on the set compared to some is very comprehensive - in fact my wife thought it was over complicated.
Any snags? Well, the sound quality is not so good, but about all you could reasonably expect from tiny speakers.
The best 22 inch LCD HD TV December 30, 2009 Happy Snapper (UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I was looking for a 22 inch TV for a bedroom that didn't compromise on picture or sound quality like many smaller screen sized TVs. The Sony KDL22E5300 by far had the best expert reviews currently. I was concerned about the negative customer reviews on Amazon about poor viewing angles so looked at it in a shop and although only by being very very picky could I see what others are saying, the screen goes very slightly darker if you view from the side or below but the difference is tiny to say the least it in no way put me of buying it.
The standard definition picture and sound quality is superb and the HD quality is mind blowing. Clean, bright, sharp images and deep crystal clear sounds even at high volumes. Even the best reviews don't do it justice! I'm most surprised by the sound quality for the size of the screen it really is outstanding.
I'm puzzled by how anyone can say that the picture is poor and the sound is weak. I'd be curious to know what kind of HDMI cable they were using. Many say that a cheap HDMI cable is a good as much more expensive cable. I wasn't prepared to take the risk so I bought Chord Company Supershield Cables and out of curiosity compared it to a cheap cable I had and the difference was huge, the colour faded massively and lost a lot of definition and the sound became a lot less clear, sharp and deep with the cheap cable. Good cables are definitely worth the money!
I've been playing about with it for the past few days and I have found that not all HD programmes and films are as good quality in terms of picture and sound, big budget animation films seem to be the best examples of HD to see what it can do.
I have it on a cantilever wall bracket so I'm able to adjust the viewing angle but you can barely notice a difference to the picture. If you were planning to use with the table top legs so are unable to adjust the angle you may want to see it in a shop before to satisfy yourself but having seen it myself it wouldn't have put me off.
I'm very glad I wasn't put off by the other reviews I can't imagine finding a better 22 inch TV.

This is my 3rd LCD TV for the bedroom, due to discontentment. I am very discerning about picture quality and I am usually at cross purposes with my wife who is only interested in content. However, even she is overwhelmed by the picture on this TV. Although the price appears to be high-ish for a TV of this size we are glad we splashed out.
What surprises me most of all is the effort involved to get a good demo of it in the various shops we visited to try and buy it. They all had bluray players going, in one capacity or another - but this telly only had freeview going through it. I pushed one salesman to connect up a bluray player - and within minutes the TV was at the centre of attention in a very busy store.
Picture quality can be subjective at best and abstract at worst. But to give an example of the strength of this set - I watched "Tears of the sun" on C5 freeview last night on this TV and had forgotten (since CRT TV days) how many colours and skin tones the human skin carries.
I/we will be spending more time in front of this TV than the living room one.
