4 out of 5 stars nice television   January 22, 2010
"Jint" (scotland)
Television looks nice easy to set up picture and sound quality good for me anyway, back of television all white not black like some i have seen and having the inputs on back not side is good, only thing i wasnt to keen on was the clear bit at bottom with the red going along it, i personally think it would have looked better without that, but for the price in my opinion good television beter than a black one dont no why they cant make more choice in white as i find the 22inch a bit on the small side for me personally but i found it impossible to find a 26inch anywhere but all in all an okay television, and it got delivered on the day they said it would.

3 out of 5 stars Not what is advertised!   January 6, 2010

Got it out of the box and was amazed on how good the white telly looks. Like with other reviewers I bought this TV for my bedroom. My main uses were to use as PC monitor and for my xbox.

Setting it up could have not been easier, there were a few hic ups with setting up the freeview channels, however I think I am the one to blame and not the TV.

Once I got everything running I was some what disappointed with the image, I thought the images would be shaper and clearer. I did have a play around with the settings and I found that the 'movie' setting gave the best picture. The sound is not the best, but that is the trade off for having wafer thin TVs.

Upon taking a closer look at the advert of the TV, I noticed that it advertised that there are supposed to be 4 HDMI inputs (3 rear and 1 side); so I looked at the connections on the TV and only found 1 HDMI imput. So I instantly thought that Amazon had sent me the wrong TV. I called them up to bring to their attention of this problem, the operator was a bit miffed. He looked at the manufacturer's description(which is on the main page)and then looked at the techinical details(there is a link to it)and found that the information did not correspond to each other. We also found out the the resolution was not a 1920x1080(like it advertised on the main page) but 1366x768, and there were no USB ports.

Amazon did apologise for the miss leading me and have offered a full refund, which I am going to take. They also said that that they would ammend the advert....but guess what they have not. So for all of the potential buyers out there, please read the technicall details as they describe the specs and ignore the manufucturer's description.

Overall the TV is a good product, but please be carefull in buying it. Do not make the same mistake as I have thinking that there are 4HDMI inputs, USB ports and 1080p. I am sure there are more descrepancies.

I am only giving this 3 stars so that it can highlight my points, seeing that the other reviews are 4&5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant TV   January 4, 2010

I love this TV. Wasn't sure about getting it in white, but it lives in the study and it really looks the part.I have two sony bravias and the samsung's picture quality is at least as good. I would recommend this TV for a kitchen, study or small bedroom. It is a doddle to set up.No negatives to report.
