 Pants sound but OK otherwise for the price March 17, 2010

The picture has been fine for me, I've had 2 as the first died after only 5 months. Amazon customer service were really good and replaced it very quickly.
The only main glitch I've found is the sound, unless it's very quiet it distorts the sound and gives me a headache. I find the remote a little unreliable, have to hit a button several times to get the channel to change occasionally, have had this on both TVs.

I purchased the 32inch Toshiba as a second T.V. for the dinning room,
after the very easy set up and connection to sky the picture & sound are both very good
the only problem I have is that the t.v. POWER DOES NOT SWITCH OFF and only stays in stand by mode
I find this a big problem as I have to move the stand with t.v. sky dvd & wii consul to unplug the t.v
and I find this most annoying in this age of saveing energy

Haven't used this TV much since recieving it but the picture seems to be really clear and the volume is no problem. Only issue I did have was making DVD's fit the screen especially older ones like Friends (a bit of fiddling around and it was all fixed).
Would recommend to anyone on a budget as it works really well and definetly doesn't look cheap!

We have had this set for just over one month and up to the present time we are very satisfied,
this is on several counts, quality, great picture, good value for money and ease of use. What more
can one ask for, the item was free delivery and was received with 4 days of placing the order...
My wife has poor eyesight but is better able to see a clear picture' I had no problems with the old set, a 32" Hitachi LCD but I was not the one with the eyesight problem, thanks to yourselves and Toshiba my wife is once again able to view all the trash soaps that I have to grin and bare....
Well you can't have everything can you ??

Not so good TV, the sound system broke down after a two weeks, the picture quality is good, i thought Toshiba would be one the best electrical goods, but i have changed my mind.
Lets see if anything else goes wrong.
