 Forget it if want to wallmount Toshiba TVs July 20, 2010
Annoyed
Over all I like the picture quality and the functions on this TV.
But if you wish to Wall mount a Toshiba forget it, although there are mounting bolt holes
in the back, no bolts are supplied and when I contact Toshiba Customer Services to get the
info of bolt size they told me they can not give out that information and told me to get a
professional TV wall mounter to fit it, I said I have a wall mount on the wall I fitted for
my last TV and you want me to pay £200 - £250 for someone to put 4 bolt in the back of my
Toshiba because you wont tell me the size of the bolts I need to use, They replied with you
can either do that or return the TV to who you bought it off.
I could not believe Toshiba told me to send the TV back!
So Toshiba will not let wall mount there wall mountable TVs so only 2 stars

EXCELLENT TV,PITY ABOUT THE REMOTE THAT CAME WITH IT AS IT SEEMS VERY SLOW TO RESPOND,WE HAVE TELLY IN BEDROOM UP ON THE WARDROBE IN FRONT OF BED,TV GIVES EXCELLENT PICTURE AND SOUND AND FOR THE MONEY YOU CANNOT FAULT IT(ONLY THE REMOTE IS VERY POOR)
Sound;Troubles! June 23, 2010

When I received this product I was overjoyed at the modern, slick look, the size and the quality - especially considering the price. However, Though I'd heard there were SOUND TROUBLES with this model and earlier versions, I took the risk of buying it, thinking that since the majority of reviews hadn't mentioned problems that I would probably have nothing to worry about.
Turns out, after using devices linked by even the most recent versions of HDMI cables for a half hour or so, the sound becomes very androidy as though the T.V. is supporting lower quality sound. This generally lasts around 10 minutes or so but still is unacceptable. Imagine watching a good film, you come to a climax or to important plot revealing dialogue and the T.V. decides to act up! Not worth it!
I'd pass on this product unless you can convince Toshiba to recall all instances of this model and fix the problem (or at least the one you buy) or are deaf!

this tv is not only the best value for money tv I have come across, it also looks great and the performance is as good as any I have seen. I am not an expert on televisions but I do recognise quality when I see it.
