| Customer Reviews: Excellent television February 22, 2010 Trish (London) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought this for a bedroom. It has to be the easiest TV to set up. The picture is great and so too is the sound. Buying one for kitchen too. Menu is easy to navigate around. Would highly recommend
Better than Sony February 18, 2010 Mr. A. Saad (UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
We have an LCD Sony 34{", in researching for that discovered that the Sony and Philips had much better and equal quality pictures than the others (Lg, Panasonic etc). But we settled on the Sony because we preferred the design. When we wanted a 22" for the bedroom, Sony was the obvious choice. But checking out the Sony, I didn't like the picture frame design, it seemed the size of the TV was being increased by a white border, which is not that good for watching TV anyway - it would reflect any light in the room and compete with the picture on the screen. So I went for the Philips.
What I was not prepared for however, was how good the sound quality was from the Philips, practically as good our 34" Sony model. Also the set up was so easy just select the country, it tunes all the channels and then press a few yes/no type buttons to match your picture preferences- it would need to have unpacked itself to make it easier! The service from Reliant (Amazon market place) was great, ordered Sunday, arrived Tuesday.
If you are looking for smaller screen go for this. If you don't mind the look of the Sony, I would suggest you check out the sound quality first, I think the Philips is better by a significant amount.

Great Looking Telly February 4, 2010 Mr. M. W. Money (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Thought I'd write this on here despite picking the tv up from John Lewis, as people look to Amazon for reviews. However trying to find a review for this tv is like looking for hen's teeth so hopefully this will come in useful to someone. I took the chance on this over the 22B450 Samsung as I really liked how it looked and I just fancied something different. Now I've only had it a day but first impressions are great. It's a very bonny little tv, the sd picture is super and the sound is decent with no shortage of volume. Needless to say you need to tinker with the settings a bit. There are a few nice touches, liked the setup wizard, and the general build quality is excellent. The guide is a little monochrome but I've never found a epg yet that compares with Sky or PlayTV. Overall so far I'm very happy.
