Great TV, worth the money June 22, 2010 N. Bamber (UK) Nice size, good picture - not too heavy (ie wall mounted easily). Overall, cant grumble.
Beware if you like the red button... April 27, 2010 Philips don't listen (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This TV was fine until the Granada digital switchover, after which the red button interactivity failed to work.
Philips are aware of the problem and acknowledge that the tuner in this model is 'over sensitive' but are refusing to co-operate. There could be a lot of people out there with the same problem...but Philips' attitude seems to be 'so what'.
Other than that, the TV is good, picture is fine and everyting (other than the red button) works well. The manual is poor but there are not many good ones about.
But please, ask about the red button/tuner issue before you buy.
Excellent set May 28, 2008 J. kelly 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Brought this tv to upgrade from our old CRT, and i am so glad i did. To begin with the menu is very easy to use and not over complicated. The tv looks great and goes well with my 360 elite. The picture quality is brilliant aspecially when playing cod4. Good contrast ratio and excellent sound quality. Overall great value for money.
Superb February 8, 2008 S. Harding (Cornwall) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I brought this tv to use in a bedroom with a ps3
I have to say that it is fantastic. The picture quality is brilliant and i see no problem with the sound as other reviewers are saying. It really is not worth the extra money for a sony as this tv is as good or if not better. The sound and picture settings are very easy to use and Blu-ray films are brilliant on it.
Very strongly recommended
great value for money December 31, 2007 Mr. T. Parr (uk) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Have to say I wasnt expecting that much from this initially but Im very impressed so far. Even with a cheap indoor aerial I bought more than 10 years ago it works great and the freeview is really good. So easy to set-up and install (it does everytthing for you more to be honest) and it looks great with its glass stand. All in all definately the Tv for watching movies and sports. Philips get a thumbs up from me!
