 Great picture Poor sound quality April 27, 2010

This really is a great looking TV, the crystal finish is very nice, and the see through upright on the supplied stand is a neat touch too, all in all a classy looking product. Things get even better when you turn it on, overall picture quality is very good for a TV in this price range (around £500). high brightness, contrast and rich colours. although could be a touch more natural but a minor quibble considering price.
What really lets things down though is the sound quality. very tinny, even with the bass settings on the equaliser turned up, the sound only gains a modicum of solidity. But trades clarity, for a muffled booming sound on any deep bass notes. Switching on the trusurround didn't help either, unless you like fake sound processing effects.
The problem lies with the latest trend for clean lines and shrinking cabinet dimensions, although this improves the look of the TV's, the poor little speakers (and they are little to fit in the slim cabinet) are now relegated to the back of the screen, in this case firing downwards. So if you want the best sound from this TV please feel free to sit underneath it.

There is not much more than I can say other than that the service from Amazon was excellent, product arrived several days earlier than scheduled. Amazon's price beat the competition by a considerable margin. The TV itself is stylish, has an excellent picture and was easy to set up - it does all its own tuning.

I bought this TV in January to replace a returned Sony Bravia KDL32V5500U Sony Bravia KDL32V5500U 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview , which was suffering from a sever case of LCD clouding.
What can I say, this TV is leagues ahead of the sony, is bigger (37" Vs 32") and is cheaper. It looks and feels a better quality product and the picture is sooooo much better, brighter and clearer than the Sony (I watch Sky HD and an upscaled DVD player on it).
I bought it having seen it get 5 starts and win the What H-Fi 37" TV test in the Jan 2010 issue. I'm really pleased with it.

Spent ages comparing prices and features eventually went for the 37" and wow was not disappointed, in fact thrilled. Delivery was excellent following morning. Set up was simple, tweaked picture settings a little and results are superb, picture off sky + is very good, off blu ray is unbelievable, got blu-ray player same time so cannot compare other TVs. TV looks good, performs better I am not a tech freak but to me there is no problem with the sound am using the sets speakers and they are ample for what i want and as a sports fan i am more than happy with the pictures watching sports.I would 100% recommend this product and amazon is the cheapest for it.

I bought this for my mum for her birthday after doing a fair bit of research on the best relatively inexpensive 37" TVs. I have to agree with what I'd read, it is a fantastic TV for the price. Picture quality is excellent, great definition and bright clear colours. I can sense (it is more sense than any specific sign) that there is a very slight touch of lag but I am used to a plasma screen and as far as I know all LCD TVs have lag to some extent. Sound is more than good enough for watching TV programs, although if you want pumping tunes or movie-like surround sound then you'll need an external sound system. I bought it for £439 which was for such a good TV seemed like an absolute bargain.
